My son loves going to see Diane every week. His confidence and ability has increase greatly over the past few months. When he started at the summer he would often refuse to read and would only read a few words at a time before giving up. He also struggled with spelling. Under the guidance and support of Diane he is no longer scared to read out loud and is able to read several chapters. He has learnt several strategies to help with his spelling that he utilises both at school and home.

Diane is an absolute pleasure to work with. We engaged with Diane nearly a year ago now for help with my son’s learning. We were currently working with school for a dyslexia assessment but this was not a fast process. Diane chatted through the different MOT packages available and what they would give us. We decided to do the full (detailed) package which was very much worth every penny. This then led us to booking in with Diane for summer sessions in July to then weekly tutoring from term time. The results have been brilliant. We have seen my sons confidence increase so much and his spelling advance. He was eventually diagnosed by the school for Dyslexia and only has limited help from this resource. Educational MOT has been worth every penny to invest in my sons education. Diane is a lovely person, very experienced, professional and the space created in her home is a calming workspace. My son looks forward to his weekly sessions as it is challenging but fun way to learn. We would highly recommend Educational MOT!

Both my children go weekly for a tutoring session with Diane, and they LOVE her! Diane is such a wonderful, warm and enthusiastic person, and from the moment she opens the door she makes the children feel special. My children always leave feeling confident, proud and looking forward to the next session.
Diane has been teaching my 10 year old for eight months, primarily focusing on literacy. Her confidence and ability has grown, and many foundational spelling rules and patterns have been learnt which will set her up going forward.
My second child is only 7, but was so desperate to visit Diane after hearing all the enthusiasm from his sister! After a one-off visit he begged to go every week just like his sister! He was already strong academically, yet it’s still been worthwhile as some gaps have started to be filled, concepts he knew have been cemented, and he is being exposed to new challenges that he was ready for but not receiving at school.
I highly recommend Diane for any and every child, and my children do too!
